Port Macquarie Base Hospital Mental Health Facility
Construction is complete of a new Mental Health facility at the Port Macquarie Base Hospital. This includes a new unit to accommodate 24 patient beds and associated facilities, and the refurbishment of the existing mental health, community mental health buildings and external works.
All fixtures, fittings and furnishings in the mental health rooms were required to meet a stringent specification, including anti-ligature features to minimise patient self-harm. Vision were able to supply lighting to meet this specification.
