Macquarie University 1CC
Vision is proud to share our involvement in the redevelopment of Macquarie University’s Central Courtyard Precinct, a project that has truly exceeded expectations and established a new ‘heart’ for the campus. This transformation provides 40,000 students and over 3,000 staff with innovative spaces designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and community.
As Macquarie University’s largest and most transformative project in 54 years, the Central Courtyard redevelopment is a testament to modern architectural excellence. The four-level building, designed by the award-winning Architectus and built on a brownfield site, serves as a multifunctional hub with a graduation hall, pre-function and function rooms, a commercial kitchen, and numerous retail outlets. It also houses 26 active learning classrooms and informal spaces, promoting dynamic educational experiences.
Some of our bespoke solutions included designing and supplying custom hexagonal pendants using the Alinya system with RGBW boards, ensuring the lighting solution perfectly met the client’s requirements. We also crafted unique orb on outreach arm lights, enhancing both the aesthetic and functionality of this vibrant campus space.
Join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement and explore how Vision Lighting can illuminate your projects with creativity and precision.
