Hurstville Hospital underwent a major expansion to the existing facility to increase the number of hospital beds from 54 to 96. The state-of-the-art design incorporates the very latest facilities and technology. The plans also included provision for an extension of the operating theatre complex, a new oncology service, more post-natal beds, a larger medical specialist consulting centre and a brand new patient accommodation building with support amenities including a dedicated visitors parking level.

Vision Lighting provided product specifications, IES files and certification documentation to the lighting consultant and collaborated with them to create a medical room typical lighting design. Vision then provided samples for a mock-up room to meet client approval. Lighting supply was scheduled with the project team and Vision provided flexibility to meet the demanding and changing project schedule.
