Vision Lighting Response to Covid-19
Like many businesses globally, Vision Lighting has been impacted by the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, facing unforeseen supply-chain challenges. Vision is actively monitoring the situation, following advice provided by the Australian Government and health organisations.
Any international orders are being quarantined for the recommended 14 day period and to this date have been cleared with no issues, this delay has unfortunately extended our lead times, as with many others in the industry.
We continue our work as usual and have already taken steps in order to minimise the impact as much as possible. Currently, the following measures of precaution are in effect at Vision:
- We have shared best practice health tips with our team.
- Limiting face-to-face interaction.
- Using technology such as video and teleconferencing where possible.
Systems have been prepared and implemented to enable employees to work remotely and most are doing so, meaning all of our services remain available. All business travel is being monitored to ensure only critical travel is undertaken and we are also recommending our employees to avoid non-urgent personal travel.
Any visitors to Vision Lighting must pass strict protocol:
- No overseas travel in the last 14 days.
- No close contact with anyone who has been overseas in the last 14 days.
- No-one feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms.
We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our plans accordingly. We wish you, your staff, and all those you care for to stay healthy and safe.
