Ambulance Victoria Dandenong

The new Dandenong ambulance station replaces the 50-year-old former station at Stud Road. The spacious new branch has a five-bay drive in-and-out garage along with training facilities, rest and recline rooms, a fully-fitted kitchen and staff car parking.

The new station will be home to both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedics. The shared location will mean greater skills exchange, scenario training and case debriefing.

The Victorian Government has committed $181.8 million since 2015 to the Ambulance Victoria development program. This program aims to upgrade and rebuild ambulance stations to provide better working conditions for paramedics and ensure lifesaving emergency care is available for all Victorians.
